As a mark of respect to the late Mary Hayes, the IAA Architecture Gallery and Reading Room will be closed on Friday 9 January 2026.
The Irish Architectural Archive was established fifty years ago this year by Edward McParland and Nick Robinson. A programme of exhibitions, publications and events will be rolled out from April 2026 to mark this important milestone.
The Archive will remain open until 12 noon on Tuesday 23 December 2025 and will reopen at 10am on Friday 2 January 2026.
The drawings in the IAA Guinness Collection have now been digitised and over 170 digital images are accessible via the IAA Catalogue.
The IAA is delighted to once again participate in the Irish Architecture Foundation’s Open House Dublin. No. 45 Merrion Square will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 18 October, with regular guided tours of the house and an opportunity to see the photographic exhibition STUDIO by Harry Moore.
The reading room and exhibitions will close on Thursday 17 April at 5pm and reopen on Tuesday 22 April 2025 at 10am.Â
